It’s time! Cancel all of your Saturday night plans as faithful presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman lead us back onto the dance floor for another sequin-clad series of Strictly Come Dancing. But it’s not just any series. Fresh off another National Television Awards win, this year is the 20th anniversary since Strictly first shimmied onto our screens and changed the landscape of telly talent shows forever.

And to mark the celebrations the 2024 series promises to be more accessible than ever before, as more audience members can get involved with live signing on BBC iPlayer for the first time throughout the show’s entirety. Plus, fans can expect a one-off programme showcasing two decades of Strictly magic that’s scheduled to air later this year, featuring iconic performances and heart-warming interviews with past celebrity stars, professional dancers and judges.

Joining the 2024 all-dancing extravaganza are 15 fresh-faced celebrities including comedian Chris McCausland; singers JB Gill, Toyah Willcox and Shayne Ward; professionally trained opera singer Wynne Evans; media medic Dr Punam Krishan; TV personalities Tasha Ghouri and Pete Wicks; actors Sarah Hadland and Jamie Borthwick; Olympians Montell Douglas and Sam Quek; former footballer Paul Merson and TV presenter Nick Knowles.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Strictly without the return of the awesome foursome to keep an eye on things with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke at the judge’s desk. But who'll be lifting the Strictly 2024 Glitterball? Tune in to Strictly Come Dancing from 7pm on Saturday 21 September on BBC One HD (CH 101).
